This is the original tried-and-true Quad Lock mount that catapulted the brand into popularity with cyclists and later with motorcyclists. It’s still a shop favorite; and still the strongest and most secure design in the Quad Lock catalog.

The Bike and Bar Mount attaches quickly and easily to either a bicycle stem, or to a section of handlebars—on a bicycle, or motorcycle—with at least a couple of inches of free real estate space.

*Note, if you don’t have a true horizontally or vertically oriented bar to mount to, consider using the , possibly in conjunction with an adjustable to get your device on plane, no matter how wonky the angle of the mounting surface.

Unlike most of the other lever-based Quad Lock mounts, this one uses a spring-loaded locking collet to (even more) securely and quickly hold and orient a phone in either the portrait or landscape position.

This mount works best when mounted in the open handlebar located smack dab between the clamps. And we have found that it can be mounted directly over the brace found between the handlebar clamps on some models—like the BMW R9T, for example.

The patented dual-stage lock is strong enough to lift up to 80kg or about 176lbs (yup, Quad Lock tested it). So the user can ride with confidence over bumps and jumps knowing that their device isn’t going anywhere.

Each Bike/Bar mount comes with two sizes of O-Ring rubber bands, as well as two high-quality zip ties for a more permanent mounting solution.

The EPDM O-Rings are meant for outdoor use and will not become brittle or compromised even when exposed to the elements for years on end.
